The 101st running of the Irish 2000 Guineas was held on Saturday 22nd May 2021 over 1 mile of The Curragh. The winner received €228,000 and was owned by Mrs Jim Bolger, trained by Jim Bolger and ridden by Rory Cleary. The winner won by a short head in 1 minute 41.32 seconds, with 3 1/4 lengths between second and third. The race was run in strange circumstances, with limited crowd, attrocious weather, and officials in masks because of the coronavirus outbreak.
